Internship Opportunity in Portfolio ManagementThis internship provides a unique chance to work with cutting-edge AI tools and gain hands-on experience in portfolio management.Key Responsibilities:Wealth Management & Client Engagement:Learn about client interaction and investment strategies, including identifying market trends and creating effective pitch books.Analyze and present market data insights for portfolio recommendations, ensuring alignment with client goals.Participate in mock client meetings to develop strong communication skills and build confidence in presenting investment ideas.Financial Research & Analysis:Conduct fundamental and technical analysis of equities and alternative investments, staying up-to-date on market news and economic indicators.Understand debt securities, including yield to maturity (YTM) calculations, and apply this knowledge to real-world scenarios.Compare investment options such as corporate bonds, NCDs, and mutual funds, weighing the pros and cons of each.Portfolio & Risk Management:Develop strategic portfolio allocation plans, taking into account risk tolerance and financial goals.Utilize AI-powered risk profiling tools to identify areas of improvement and optimize portfolio performance.Create a virtual portfolio of assets, allocating funds to equities, debt, ETFs, and alternative investments, and compare it to a target asset allocation suggested by AI-driven risk profiling.Technical & AI-Driven Financial Tools:Explore the application of artificial intelligence in portfolio management, including machine learning and natural language processing.Work on developing Virtual Risk Analyser and Virtual Portfolio Analyser tools, applying your knowledge of programming languages and data analysis.Capstone Project:Present an investment proposal for a client, incorporating:Portfolio allocation recommendations based on thorough research and analysis.A long-term macroeconomic outlook, considering economic indicators and global trends.Security/fund selection and justification, ensuring alignment with client objectives.This internship offers a comprehensive learning experience, combining theoretical knowledge with practical application.
