(Mandatory skill)Strong background in scrub nursing with an emphasis on cardiac surgeries, upholding sterile and safe environments.Proficient in patient care, offering compassionate support and attending to their needs before and after surgeries.Experience working as a staff nurse, demonstrating excellent teamwork and communication skills within medical teams.Ability to handle medical instruments and surgical tools, ensuring they meet required standards for surgical procedures.Capability to maintain composure and efficiently manage work in high-pressure environments like cardiac operation theaters.Exceptional attention to detail, critical in prepping procedures and maintaining accurate medical records during surgeries.Sound decision-making skills, essential for providing immediate and accurate responses to the dynamic needs of the operating room.Roles and ResponsibilitiesPrepare the operating room and ensure all equipment is sterilized and functional before cardiac procedures.Assist the surgical team during cardiac operations, maintaining a sterile environment and handling instruments efficiently.Monitor patient vitals during procedures and provide necessary interventions under the surgeon's direction.Collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgeons to deliver optimal patient outcomes during and after surgeries.Educate patients and their families about postoperative care, ensuring understanding and addressing any concerns.Maintain accurate surgical records, including instrument counts and patient information, ensuring compliance with medical standards.Participate in training and development opportunities to expand skills and stay updated on advancements in cardiac surgical care.Support the medical team and provide guidance to junior staff to foster a cooperative and productive work environment.
