Role Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead and supervise a team of 6 to 10 accounting professionals. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar managerial role and strong knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS, and local GAAP. Proficiency in accounting software such as Zoho / QuickBooks and other similar ERPs. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for guiding the team, reviewing their work, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality client deliverables. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for this role.


Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of 6 to 10 accounting professionals.

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and working closely with Director of Accounting

• Review and approve team members’ work, ensuring accuracy and adherence to firms SOPs and quality standards.

• Provide guidance and training to team members on complex accounting matters.

• Take responsibility for finalizing financial statements, reports, and other client deliverables.

• Ensure the effective use of accounting software, including Zoho and QuickBooks.

• Collaborate with clients to ensure timely deliver of reports & deliverables.

• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements related to financial reporting.

• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounting department.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA, MBA, or equivalent qualification is a plus).

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, managing a team of accounting professionals.

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP.

• Proficiency in accounting software such as Zoho and QuickBooks.

• Excellent leadership and team management skills.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Robust communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.


Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with a diverse client portfolio.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
