Legal and Compliance Manager Job DescriptionThis is a critical business-enabling role spanning multiple entities across various jurisdictions.The Legal & Compliance Manager will work directly with leadership across finance, HR, and operations to ensure smooth cross-border operations.Key ResponsibilitiesEntity Compliance (India, US, NZ)Draft, manage, and maintain compliance documents for India, US, and NZ entities.Liaise with registered agents and advisors for Delaware franchise filings, annual reports, and state compliance.Maintain a master compliance calendar across all three entities.Contract ManagementNegotiate SaaS Agreements, MSAs, NDAs, Channel Partner Agreements, Vendor Contracts, and Consulting Agreements.Support the Sales and Finance teams with customer contract reviews, renewals, and compliance with regulatory obligations.Maintain a contract repository, track renewals, and ensure timely renewals of customer and vendor contracts.Legal Coordination and AdvisoryWork with external counsel for litigation, IP protection, employment law, and data-privacy matters.Provide legal inputs to internal stakeholders on business decisions, pricing models, and new market entry.Governance and Internal PoliciesDraft, review, and update internal policies – Code of Conduct, Anti-Bribery, Data Protection, Vendor Onboarding, and Employment policies.Maintain documentation trails and version control for all legal and policy documents.Skill RequirementsProficiency in managing statutory and regulatory compliance under Companies Act, 2013, FEMA, Labour Laws, GST, and IT Act in India.Familiarity with ASC 606 / GDPR / data-protection obligations.Excellent negotiation and communication skills.BenefitsA competitive compensation package.A dynamic and collaborative work environment.Ongoing training and development opportunities.OthersA flat organizational structure allowing for autonomy and flexibility.An emphasis on work-life balance.A comprehensive employee benefits package.
