Procurement Specialist RoleThis position entails overseeing procurement processes, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of products and services.Procurement Strategy: Developing and implementing procurement strategies to optimize costs, improve quality, and enhance supplier relationships.Vendor Management: Analyzing vendor performance, identifying areas for improvement, and developing corrective actions to ensure suppliers meet project requirements.Delivery Assurance: Collaborating with internal functions to guarantee timely deliveries, resolving any issues that may arise during the process.The role involves maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective vendors, ensuring accurate tracking and analysis of data to identify performance bottlenecks, devising solutions, and overseeing their implementation.Key responsibilities include collaborating with internal departments on initiatives such as standard operating procedures (SOPs), pricing, and new projects.In this capacity, you will visit multiple sites to understand processes and systems followed in production, quality, and delivery.
