Responsibilities -
- Accounting: Managing the day-to-day accounting operations, including income and expense accounting, MIS, and analysis
- Tax: Reviewing and monitoring tax-related matters, including tax assessments, returns, and audits.
- Budgeting: Comparing monthly budgets with actual expenses and analyzing variances.
- Reporting: Managing working capital and funds status, and preparing financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
- Audits: Handling statutory, tax, and internal audits.
- Reconciliations: Conducting regular bank reconciliations and vendor payment reconciliations.
- Cash flow: Managing cash flow and reporting on it periodically.
- GST: Handling monthly GST payments and returns, and GST audits.
- TDS: Monitoring quarterly TDS returns and 26AS reconciliations.
- Revenue: Monitoring revenue, bill booking, and receivable management.
- Systems and procedures: Developing systems and procedures to improve the efficiency and accuracy of accounting
