We are looking for a Platform Engineer holding sound experience in implementing security remediation for customer data warehouse (Snowflake & Data bricks), including configuration, integration, and patch installation. Reconfigure the warehouses to adopt a data mesh design supporting multi-region business. Support users of the data warehouses.


Requirements:

  • Experience in managing and administration of Datawarehouse such as Snowflake, Confluent Kafka & Databricks (Must)
  • Experience on ETL and data processing
  • Experience on DevSecOps Process (Must)
  • Expert on AWS Cloud services (S3, Redshift, RDS, EC2, ECS, Fargate, API Gateway, Cognito etc) (Must)


Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the environment: Administering clusters, workspaces, and notebooks
  • Configuring and optimizing: Configuring and optimizing resources and clusters based on workload requirements and best practices
  • Monitoring: Monitoring system performance, resource utilization, and availability using Databricks/Snowflake monitoring and logging tools
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Databricks/Snowflake infrastructure, networking, security, and integration with other systems
  • Providing technical support: Providing technical support to data engineering, Data Science/ML, and Application/integration teams
  • Performing restores/recoveries: Performing restores and recoveries
  • Managing account identities: Managing account identities, settings, and subscriptions
  • Improving the platform: Improving the Databricks platform by adding new features, integration, and additional services
  • Discussing usage: Discussing the ideal and optimal usage of the Databricks/Snowflake platform with customers
  • Managing AWS storage: Managing AWS storage and network configuration
