Transform Business with Data Vision and ArchitectureSenior Leader, Data EngineeringThis role is instrumental in shaping the company's data vision, architecting scalable platforms, and guiding engineering teams while influencing cross-functional stakeholders.Main Responsibilities:Maintain and develop the enterprise data architecture strategy, roadmap, and standards to drive business growth.Lead data governance, quality, privacy, and compliance initiatives ensuring alignment with GDPR/CCPA regulations.Design modern data platforms including data lakes, warehouses, and streaming solutions for enhanced efficiency.Partner with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, R&D, and IT departments to integrate data sources and create a lasting business impact.Optimize cloud data flows, pipelines, storage, metadata, and observability for seamless operations.Drive AI/ML enablement for forecasting, personalization, and advanced analytics to propel business forward.Guide and mentor data engineering and analytics teams through strategic influence.Evaluate and manage vendor relationships for new data tools and technologies.Provide executive-level reporting and architectural recommendations for informed decision-making.Required Expertise:18+ years of experience in Information Technology with 8+ years in data architecture or engineering.Proven expertise designing large-scale, distributed data systems and modern cloud architectures.Strong understanding of CPG/FMCG data use cases and marketing analytics tools.Familiarity with TOGAF or similar frameworks for strategic planning.Expert skills in data warehousing, ELT/ETL, data modeling, and SQL for efficient data management.Experience with Snowflake, AWS/Azure/GCP, Databricks, Kafka, and proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala programming languages.Excellent communication and leadership skills with ability to guide global teams.Strong problem-solving skills to translate technical concepts into actionable business strategies.
