Senior Payroll Specialist

As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for the end-to-end Payroll and Benefits function across different verticals. Your duties will include processing payroll, ensuring statutory and labor law-related compliances, and managing Employee Benefits.You will ensure that all processes are completed in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to organizational policies and procedures. You will also be expected to provide high-level customer service to internal and external customers.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of India Payroll, statutory compliances, personal taxation, and Employee Benefits. They will also possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Key Responsibilities:Process end-to-end Payroll function across all verticalsAudit all payroll inputs prior to updating in the payroll systemMaintain separation of duties for compliance and audit controlsEnsure all policies and practices related to local payroll are implementedImprove processes to streamline payroll operationsResponsible for end-to-end statutory compliances related to payroll - taxation, e-tds, form 16, investment proofs, etc.Preparation of monthly payroll reports, salary registers, and bank uploadsManage all statutory and labor law-related compliances within due datesCoordinate with tax consultant to manage the tax compliances for Mobility participantsProvide support to employees on various payroll-related issuesRequired Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years experience in a fast-paced environment supporting senior executivesExperience with in-house payroll processingProficient using Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)Exposure to international mobility, Expat Payroll preferredExposure to PF Trust Management preferredGood Knowledge of India Payroll, statutory compliances, Personal taxationExposure to Employee Benefits like Insurance, company car lease, National Pension Scheme will be an added advantageGood understanding of labor laws and compliancesBenefits:Competitive compensation packageOpportunities for growth and professional developmentCollaborative and dynamic work environmentOthers:Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to multi-taskExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organizationSelf-starter, highly motivated, and innovative
