Medical Coding SpecialistThe role requires training students in ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems. The trainer will guide them through theoretical and practical aspects of medical coding, prepare them for certification exams such as CPC, and support placement readiness.Key Responsibilities:Coding Instruction: Deliver engaging and interactive classroom and/or online sessions on Medical Terminology, Anatomy & Physiology, ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding.Curriculum Development: Design and update training materials, assignments, and mock tests to ensure students meet job-readiness standards.Evaluation and Feedback: Assess student performance and provide regular feedback to improve their skills.Exam Preparation: Prepare students for AAPC CPC or AHIMA certification exams by providing comprehensive study materials and practice exercises.Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest coding updates and regulatory guidelines to maintain expertise.Requirements:A degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Biotechnology, or Allied Health Sciences.OR any graduate with at least 2 years of relevant medical coding experience.
