Digital Commerce Interface Specialist

Sr Front-End DeveloperCreate and optimize user interfaces for digital commerce projects.Develop user interfaces for complex multi-channel customer experience projects & digital commerce projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX/UI designers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure design and functionality align with business needs.Support project timelines by identifying and mitigating risks and resolving development-related bottlenecks.Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for performance optimization and efficiency.Foster a culture of collaboration, agility, and innovation.Must-Have Experience & Skills:Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.Knowledge of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.Familiarity with version control systems like Git.Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.Experience with CSS preprocessors like Sass or LESS.Knowledge of build tools/task runners such as Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt.Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Technical Skills:Proficiency in digital commerce platforms such as SAP Hybris Commerce, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or equivalent systems.Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, Vue.js).Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development.Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.Soft Skills:Communication: Clearly articulating ideas and collaborating with team members and stakeholders.Teamwork: Working effectively within a team, contributing to a positive and productive environment.Adaptability: Being flexible and open to new ideas, technologies, and methodologies.Problem-solving: Approaching challenges with a solution-oriented mindset.Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in your work.Time Management: Prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently to meet deadlines.Creativity: Bringing innovative ideas to the table and thinking outside the box.Empathy: Understanding user needs and perspectives to create user-friendly interfaces.Continuous Learning: Staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.Resilience: Handling setbacks and feedback constructively and maintaining a positive attitude.Education:Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Marketing Technology, or related field.Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist) are a plus.We live and breathe Rebellious Self Expression at Dr. Martens.
