About the RoleWe are seeking a seasoned data professional to lead our big data initiatives. As a Hadoop Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, deploying and maintaining large-scale data processing systems.This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies such as Hortonworks, Cloudera, Apache Hadoop/Spark ecosystem. You will have the chance to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including database, network and application teams to ensure high availability and performance of our big data applications.Design, deploy and maintain large-scale data processing systems using Hortonworks, Cloudera, Apache Hadoop/Spark ecosystem.Develop and maintain scripts for automation using Unix SHELL/Ansible.Maintain core components such as Zookeeper, Kafka, NIFI, HDFS, YARN, REDIS, SPARK, HBASE etc.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to System and Hadoop administration.Work closely with QA and Engineering team to coordinate issue resolution within promised SLA to customers.RequirementsLinux administration experience.Experience in Hadoop Infrastructure and Administration.Knowledge of SOLR, Configuration Management (Ansible etc).Deploying and administering Hortonworks, Cloudera, Apache Hadoop/Spark ecosystem.Working knowledge of HBASE Clusters.Knowledge of Hadoop core components such as Zookeeper, Kafka, NIFI, HDFS, YARN, REDIS, SPARK etc.BenefitsThis role offers a unique blend of technical challenges and opportunities for growth and development.
