Assessment & Academic Support SpecialistWe are seeking a dedicated professional to join our remote education team as an Assessment & Academic Support Specialist. As a key member, you will support learners across various programmes by providing high-quality assessment, guidance, and academic support throughout their studies.Key Responsibilities:Mark student assignments according to academic standards.Provide clear, constructive feedback on student submissions.Offer ongoing academic support, monitoring progress and addressing concerns proactively.Maintain accurate records of student marks, progress, feedback, and interactions.Evaluate assessments for alignment with course outcomes and academic requirements.Collaborate with the wider education team to enhance the student learning experience.Manage workload efficiently for timely marking and communication.Issue certificates to eligible students.Essential Requirements:A Master's degree in Economics, Finance, or closely related fields.Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.Demonstrated ability to produce clear, structured academic feedback.Strong organisational skills with task prioritisation and meeting deadlines.Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.High attention to detail and commitment to academic quality.Desirable/Advantageous:A PhD or advanced academic qualification in a relevant discipline.Practical experience in assessing or marking academic work, providing academic support or tutoring, or working with professional or higher-education programmes.
