Procurement Specialist for Electronic ComponentsThis is a critical role that requires the ability to manage electronic component procurement in a timely and cost-efficient manner.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electronic components, including semiconductors, capacitors, and PCBs.Responsibilities:Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure electronic components.Analyze market trends and forecast demand to mitigate risks associated with component obsolescence.Evaluate and develop supplier relationships to ensure compliance with ISO standards and environmental policies.Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to integrate procurement insights into product design.Manage inventory levels using ERP systems to optimize stock without excess.Key Skills:Electrical / Electronics Engineering degree8-10 years of progressive experience in procurement, with at least 5 years focused on electronic components in manufacturing environments.Demonstrated success in strategic sourcing for high-tech sectors, ideally power electronics or automotive electronics.Proficiency in procurement tools like SAP, Ariba, or similar, and advanced Microsoft Excel for data analysis.Professional Qualifications and Certifications:Purchasing certification (e.g., APICS)ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor CertificationOSHA Certification (Hazardous Materials Management)
