Oracle HFM Technical Consultant Job DescriptionWe are seeking a seasoned Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) Technical Consultant with a solid grasp of both technical configuration and functional financial processes.This role involves designing, building, and configuring Oracle HFM applications, including metadata, rules, data forms, and reports. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining HFM integration with source systems (FDMEE, ODI, etc.).Your key responsibilities include:Designing, building, and configuring Oracle HFM applications.Developing and maintaining HFM integration with source systems.Performing data load automation, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.Collaborating with finance teams to understand consolidation, intercompany eliminations, and financial close processes.Implementing and supporting HFM workflows, consolidation rules, and reporting hierarchies.Developing custom scripts, rules files, and calculation logic to support business needs.Providing production support, enhancements, and upgrades for HFM and related EPM components.Documenting system design, configurations, and support procedures.Partnering with functional finance users to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Required Skills & QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or related field.2-5 years of experience in Oracle HFM implementation and support.Strong understanding of financial consolidation, close, and reporting cycles.Hands-on experience with metadata management, data loads, Smart View, and HFM rules development.Experience with FDMEE, ODI, or other ETL/integration tools.Knowledge of Oracle EPM Suite (Planning, FCCS, DRM, ARM, etc.) is a plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and documentation skills.
