OpenText Core Capture ConsultantLocation: Remote Home Office anywhere (works in US time zone)Reports to: Practice Director - ECM and IT ServicesPosition Type: Contract About the role:We are seeking an experienced OpenText Core Capture Consultant to design, configure, and deploy enterprise-grade document-capture solutions using OpenText Core Capture (OTCC). You will configure capture workflows, define document profiles, and implement recognition models that automatically extract, classify, and validate information from structured and unstructured documents.  Key Responsibilities:Configure and maintain capture workflows using OpenText Core Capture Designer. Train and deploy classification and data-extraction models through the platform’s built-in machine-learning features. Define document profiles, metadata schemas, and business rules for routing and validation. Adjust OCR / ICR settings and templates for multilingual or mixed-format input. Implement quality-assurance procedures, exception handling, and performance tuning. Configure data-export options (e.g., XML, CSV, JSON) and integrations via REST APIs or file-based connectors. Prepare documentation and provide knowledge transfer to technical and functional teams.  Required Skills & Qualifications:3 + years of hands-on experience implementing or supporting OpenText Core Capture. Proven knowledge of Core Capture Designer, Capture Server configuration, and workflow debugging. Deep understanding of OCR/ICR engines, template-based and template-free capture, and model-training workflows. Experience with document classification, extraction, and export configuration. Familiarity with Core Capture Admin Console and deployment in OpenText Cloud or on-prem environments. Scripting experience (VBScript, JavaScript, or Python) for data-transformation or rule-customization tasks. Strong troubleshooting and log-analysis abilities in distributed capture setups.  Preferred Qualifications:OpenText Core Capture Certification or equivalent vendor training. Background in capture modernization or automation projects. Understanding of Core Capture API integration with external content-management or ERP systems. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.  Why Optima? You will be working with an established and respected services consulting company in the SAP ecosystem.
