Cloud Platform Engineer OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Microsoft Azure.You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible.Your responsibilities will include monitoring system performance and application metrics using DataDog, as well as collaborating with software engineers, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of applications.To succeed in this role, you should have a solid foundation in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.Key Responsibilities:Design and Provision GCP Infrastructure: Utilize Terraform to define and provision GCP infrastructure, ensuring scalability and efficiency.Automation and Configuration Management: Implement automation and configuration management using Ansible to streamline system administration tasks.Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Leverage DataDog to monitor system performance and application metrics, enabling data-driven decision making.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with software engineers, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications.Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud platform tools and practices, driving innovation and process improvements.Requirements:Cloud Principles and Services: Good understanding of cloud principles and services, including GCP and Azure.Terraform Experience: Understanding of Terraform and experience with Terraform Cloud or similar.Ansible Familiarity: Familiarity with using Ansible or other CM tools for configuration management and automation.DataDog Experience: Experience with DataDog or other visibility platforms.Scripting Languages: Solid foundation in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.Collaboration Skills: Collaborative mindset and effective communication skills.Become a part of our innovative team and contribute to shaping the future of cloud infrastructure
