Study Abroad Counsellor Job DescriptionThe role of a Study Abroad Counsellor is to provide expert guidance to students navigating their study abroad journey. This involves managing student portfolios, building deep understanding of universities and programs, and facilitating smooth enrollment in chosen courses.Key Responsibilities:Student Journey Management: End-to-end management of student portfolios including onboarding, counselling, follow-ups, and overall success tracking.Expert Guidance: Building a strong understanding of universities, programs, admissions processes, and eligibility requirements including exams like GRE, GMAT, IELTS, and TOEFL.Sales Execution: Achieving targets for applications, admissions, and acceptances in line with company targets.Application Tracking: Supporting students with university applications, regularly tracking progress, and resolving queries.Enrollment Support: Facilitating smooth enrollment in chosen courses, assisting with deposits, and visa applications within deadlines.Required Skills and Qualifications1-3 years of experience in overseas education consulting.Strong sales and relationship-building skills with a student-centric mindset.Strong knowledge of destination countries, education systems, application processes, and university requirements.Completed Bachelor's degree in business, management, psychology, or related field.Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).Strong multitasking and capability of working under tight deadlines.Familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.Why Work With Us?High potential for growth within the company with end-to-end ownership.Competitive remuneration and perks.Upskilling opportunities on the job.Work as part of a young team across domains in a modern office environment.Cultivate an execution mindset with huge emphasis on delivering results.
