Automation Test SpecialistAs a seasoned expert in automation testing, we are seeking an individual with extensive experience in Java selenium and Rest API testing. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in leading teams and handling responsibilities such as designing and implementing automated tests for web and mobile applications using Selenium and BDD frameworks.With years of hands-on experience in design and implementation of automated tests, the successful candidate will create and maintain test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API projects.The ideal candidate should have experience in API Testing & API Automation and good knowledge of Postman / RestAssured/karate.Proficiency in one of the test BDD frameworks Cucumber is expected, along with a strong understanding of Git and Jenkins.Experience in enhancing and developing API/Web Service automation framework is also required.Key responsibilities include writing and maintaining detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts, executing test cases and reporting defects in a timely manner.Experience in estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating testing activities is essential.Strong ability to perform functional integration testing of all integration points between applications, components, and services is necessary.Performing end-to-end manual testing where features and user stories are tested in their entirety, identifying and tracking defects, and collaborating with the development team to resolve them are also key responsibilities.Additionally, integrating test suites into the test management system and custom test harnesses, participating in product demos and release reviews, and continuously improving testing processes and methodologies are important tasks.
