Job OpportunitiesWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Underwriter to join our team. This is a challenging role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and organizational abilities.The ideal candidate will have experience in end-to-end underwriting of Conventional loans, with a thorough understanding of US Mortgage Originations, closing procedures, federal and state lending laws. They will also have a good working knowledge of all 4C's of underwriting and be familiar with Desktop Underwriter (DU) and Loan Prospector (LP).Responsibilities will include reviewing loan files for compliance with regulatory and client guidelines, analyzing income and employment data, credit strength, capacity to repay, property appraisal, title report, and calculating LTV/CLTV/HCLTV/DTI/HTI. The successful candidate will be able to identify red flags and make sound decisions regarding loan approval or denial.Key Skills and Qualifications:3+ years of live Mortgage Underwriting experienceAbility to obtain and decipher AUS findings (DU and LP)Experience in full origination mortgage processing, loan set up, loan documentation, closing, title, quality assurance, compliance, underwriting, or assisting with conventional first mortgage loan productsGood verbal and written communication skillsBenefits:Competitive salaryNight shift allowance 6k+Incentives 10k+ per monthOther Requirements:Working knowledge of various fraud toolsAudit the file from a closing & compliance standpoint on daily basis and note any exceptionsSound knowledge of Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac Guidelines
