Full-Stack Developer(Ruby on Rails)We are seeking a talented Full-Stack Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 6–9 years of experience in Ruby on Rails and be skilled in React, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implementation: Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, design efficient, reusable, and reliable code across the full stack.Maintenance and upgrades: Manage framework upgrades, dependencies, and overall application health.Data storage and management: Work effectively with data storage systems such as PostgreSQL, Snowflake, and Amazon S3.Issue resolution: Identify and resolve bottlenecks, bugs, and performance issues.Code quality and automation: Maintain high standards of code quality, organization, and automation.Testing and validation: Write unit, integration, and regression tests to ensure code reliability.Deliverables and communication: Ensure delivered features meet business requirements and technical specifications. Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies.RequirementsRuby on Rails experience: Proven experience with Ruby on Rails and idiomatic Ruby development.Modern frontend development: Strong experience with modern frontend development using React and TypeScript.Relational databases: Solid understanding of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.Background job processing tools: Hands-on experience with background job processing tools like Sidekiq.Development tools: Familiarity with Bundler, Yarn, Rake, and Webpack. Strong grasp of object-oriented programming and RESTful APIs.Testing frameworks: Experience with testing frameworks: RSpec (backend) and Jest (frontend).Version control and CI/CD: Proficiency with Git and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes.Nice to HaveAdditional skills: Experience with Python, PHP, or other scripting languages.Terraform or infrastructure-as-code principles: Familiarity with Terraform or infrastructure-as-code principles.Data transformation and warehousing: Exposure to dbt or Snowflake for data transformation and warehousing.Cloud environments: Experience working with AWS or other cloud environments.
