We operate within the Hospital Health Care industry and strive to maintain excellence in all facets of healthcare services.Job OverviewWe are seeking a mid-level Operation Theater Incharge for our Bangalore location. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years and a maximum of 6 years of relevant experience. This role is crucial for overseeing operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of the operation theater at Spandana Hospital.Qualifications and SkillsProficiency in surgical instrument sterilization to ensure all instruments are properly cleaned and available for surgeries (Mandatory skill).Expertise in operation theater workflow management to ensure efficient scheduling and coordination of surgical procedures (Mandatory skill).Thorough knowledge of infection control procedures to maintain a sterile and safe environment within the operating room (Mandatory skill).Strong understanding of health and safety compliance to protect staff and patients from risks associated with surgical procedures.Experience in inventory management in OT to track and replenish necessary surgical supplies and equipment in a timely manner.Ability to lead and manage an operation theater team to ensure adherence to protocols and optimal performance.Skilled at coordination with surgical teams to streamline operations and communication before, during, and after surgeries.Comprehensive knowledge of patient safety protocols to prevent clinical incidents and enhance overall patient care quality.Roles and ResponsibilitiesOversee the day-to-day operations of the operation theater to ensure that all surgical procedures are executed seamlessly.Manage and train the operation theater staff to maintain high standards of care and operational efficiency.Collaborate with the surgical team to organize and facilitate smooth transitions between surgeries and handle any logistical challenges that arise.Implement and monitor infection control standards to safeguard the health of both patients and staff during procedures.Maintain an accurate inventory of all surgical instruments and supplies, ensuring availability and compliance with usage protocols.Develop and enforce safety measures and protocols within the operation theater to mitigate risks and enhance patient safety.Facilitate communication and coordination among various departments to support operative procedures and emergency requirements.Evaluate and implement best practices in operation theater management to continually improve service delivery and efficiency.
