Job Title: FOB Sourcing Executive - ApparelWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced FOB Sourcing Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and evaluating potential suppliers for fabrics, trims, and finished garments.The successful candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers. They will also have a deep understanding of the apparel industry and be able to stay up-to-date with market trends and conditions.In this role, you will be responsible for:Supplier Identification & Evaluation: Research and identify potential suppliers for fabrics, trims, and finished garments, ensuring they meet quality, compliance, and cost standards.FOB Pricing & Negotiation: Collaborate with vendors to negotiate favorable FOB (Freight on Board) pricing, ensuring alignment with company goals.Sample Development & Approval: Coordinate with suppliers to develop and approve samples, ensuring they meet design specifications and quality standards.Production Monitoring: Oversee the production process to ensure timely delivery of orders, adherence to quality standards, and resolution of any production issues.Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all sourcing activities comply with company policies and legal requirements, maintaining accurate records and documentation.Vendor Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering collaboration and ensuring mutual growth.Market Analysis: Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to inform sourcing strategies.To succeed in this role, you will need:Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Textile Engineering, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in apparel sourcing, with a focus on FOB operations.Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with sourcing and procurement software is a plus.Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to achieve cost-effective solutions.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in English and Hindi is required.Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.Travel: Willingness to travel to supplier locations as needed.This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and energetic team, where you will have the chance to make a real impact on our business.
