Responsibilities & Key Deliverables Purpose of the Role: The General Manager for Treasury and Corporate Finance will play a crucial role at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, overseeing the banking and treasury functions essential for the company's financial health.Position: General Manager – Treasury, Corporate FinanceKey Responsibilities & Accountabilities:Lead Forex and Commodity Risk Management for Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd and its subsidiaries to optimise financial outcomes.Establish and nurture banking relationships across the Mahindra Group, ensuring robust communication and collaboration.Secure both funding and non-fund-based financial resources, tailoring strategies to the specific needs of the Mahindra Group for enhanced operational efficiency.Facilitate ecosystems around financing, including the management of channel and vendor discounting initiatives, to empower business growth.Administer trade finance activities, including overseeing bank guarantees, and contribute significantly to supporting digitisation efforts that enhance financial processes.Provide the senior management team with regular updates on macroeconomic trends, performing in-depth analyses to guide strategic decision-making.Spearhead treasury-related technology initiatives, advocating for digital transformation to streamline financial operations and reporting. ExperienceBring 10-15 years of significant experience in treasury and corporate finance, ideally acquired through working within esteemed corporates or banking institutions.Demonstrate proficiency in managing complex financial operations and risk management frameworks, showcasing strong analytical capabilities.Exhibit excellent communication skills, with a track record of collaborating effectively across various teams and engaging diverse stakeholders.Possess keen problem-solving abilities, capable of navigating challenges and providing innovative financial solutions. Industry PreferredExperience within large corporations or banks is highly advantageous, providing context for understanding complex financial landscapes.Familiarity with evolving financial technologies and digital platforms that enhance treasury management would be beneficial.A background in sectors closely tied with the Mahindra Group's operational focus can provide valuable insights. Qualifications Qualifications:Candidates should possess a Chartered Accountant qualification or an MBA in Finance, laying a solid foundation for expertise in the financial domain.Additional certifications in risk management or corporate finance will be considered a plus, as they enhance the applicant's profile. General RequirementsDemonstrated excellence in communication skills, both written and verbal, to propagate important information clearly and persuasively.Proven ability to work collaboratively within teams while also demonstrating leadership capabilities when required.Drive for continuous improvement and a proactive approach in addressing challenges and implementing solutions.
