Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Digital Data Platform Engineer to join our analytics team. As a key member of our infrastructure, you will be responsible for the upkeep and development of our Denodo environment.Platform Administration: Ensure seamless data processing and query execution within our Denodo platform.Technical Support: Provide hands-on assistance with issues related to our technical infrastructure, collaborating closely with developers to resolve problems efficiently.The selected candidate will work in a rotating weekend schedule from 5 AM to 5 PM PST to ensure continuous monitoring of our Denodo landscape during business hours and weekend rotation.ResponsibilitiesPlanned Downtime Operations: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement planned downtime activities without impacting production.Incident and Change Management: Work closely with stakeholders to identify and address critical incidents while ensuring smooth transition of changes to production.Capacity Planning: Proactively monitor and manage system capacity to prevent performance degradation.Disaster Recovery Testing: Participate in regular testing exercises to validate our disaster recovery procedures.Code Review and Optimization: Analyze code for efficiency improvements and implement best practices to enhance overall platform performance.Infrastructure Upgrades: Assist in planning and executing upgrades to maintain the stability and scalability of our Denodo platform.RequirementsDenodo Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience working with Denodo platforms.Infrastructure Expertise: Strong background in technical infrastructure management, including incident and change management, capacity planning, and disaster recovery.Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
