Senior Backend EngineerWe're seeking a seasoned Senior Backend Engineer to help us build and scale reliable, high-performance backend systems. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll contribute to the architecture, development, and operations of mission-critical services that support our platform.About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our collaborative environment where clean code, solid engineering practices, and strong computer science fundamentals are deeply valued. You'll be working on building an open financial system that brings the world together.Responsibilities:Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using GolangRuby or Ruby on Rails experience is a plusContribute to the architecture and evolution of our service-oriented / microservices backendWrite clean, testable, and efficient code with a strong emphasis on qualityCollaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-impact featuresImprove performance, monitoring, and observability of backend servicesParticipate in design discussions, code reviews, and technical planningTroubleshoot and resolve production issues with a focus on reliability and root-cause analysisQualifications:5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in high-scale backend systemsStrong proficiency in Golang is required with Ruby or Ruby on Rails experience Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals — algorithms, data structures, and system designProven experience building and scaling distributed systems, APIs, or backend platforms in a production environmentFamiliarity with DevOps practices, monitoring tools, and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes) is a bonusComfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment with a collaborative mindsetStrong problem-solving skills and a passion for building high-quality softwareA Perfect Fit?If you're a skilled engineer with a passion for building high-quality software, we'd love to hear from you
