Job Overview:The Art Director will oversee the game art content, ensuring high-quality visual elements.About this Role:This position requires a self-motivated individual with strong 2D art skills and experience managing a team of game artists.Key Responsibilities:Define Art Vision: Develop and own the art vision, style guides, and visual identity for the game(s).Conception and Implementation: Create concept art, mood boards, key frames, style frames, and reference guides to communicate direction.Art Direction and Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of artists (2D, VFX, UI/UX) — hiring, performance reviews, training.Pipeline Management: Oversee all art production pipelines, scheduling, and task distribution to ensure timely delivery.Collaboration and Review: Collaborate with game designers, engineers, and product managers to align art with mechanics, UX, monetization, and performance budgets. Review and approve art assets to maintain quality, consistency & technical feasibility.Optimization and Innovation: Optimize art assets for mobile performance and push visual innovation by exploring new techniques, shaders, workflows, effects, and rendering styles.Platform Adherence: Ensure assets adhere to platform constraints (iOS / Android / different hardware tiers). Drive creation of presentation and marketing materials to communicate the artistic vision to stakeholders and external partners.About You:You must have strong 2D art skills and experience in game art development.A bachelor’s degree in fine arts or a related field is required.You should be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.Familiarity with game engines and development pipelines is a plus.You must have excellent communication and leadership skills.Benefits:This role offers competitive compensation and benefits packages.You will have opportunities for professional growth and development.We offer a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
