Job TitleOperations Research and Data Science SpecialistAbout the Role:The company is looking for a highly skilled Operations Research and Data Science specialist to join its team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in data science, machine learning, and software engineering principles.Develop and maintain complex algorithms and models using Python, machine learning libraries, and optimization solvers.Design and implement scalable and maintainable data engineering solutions using SQL, ETL, data modeling, and data quality management techniques.Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to develop and deliver high-quality products.Bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders through excellent communication skills.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain complex algorithms and models using Python, machine learning libraries, and optimization solvers such as Gurobi, CPLEX, Pyomo, or OR-Tools.Design and implement scalable and maintainable data engineering solutions using SQL, ETL, data modeling, and data quality management techniques.Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to develop and deliver high-quality products.Bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders through excellent communication skills.Critical Skills:Proficiency in mixed integer programming, heuristic methods, simulation modeling.Familiarity with data engineering concepts, including SQL, ETL, data modeling, and data quality management.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.Requirements:Master's degree or equivalent experience in Data Science, Computer Science, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or a related quantitative field.Strong expertise in Python, machine learning libraries, and software engineering principles – version control, testing, modular coding, and CI/CD workflows.Solid background in optimization and algorithm design (mixed integer programming, heuristic methods, simulation modeling).Familiarity with optimization solvers and modeling frameworks such as Gurobi, CPLEX, Pyomo, or OR-Tools.
