Data Modeler Job DescriptionOur organization seeks an accomplished Data Modeler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining accurate and comprehensive data models that meet business requirements.The successful Data Modeler will work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, identify data sources, and develop data models that align with organizational goals. They will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.Elicit and analyze data requirements to support business intelligence, analytics, and other use cases.Create and maintain data models using established standards and best practices.Develop and maintain metadata, including relationships, calculation logic, and documentation.A Data Modeler in our organization is expected to:Provide data structures that meet non-functional requirements such as performance, extensibility, change capture, and SCD (Slowly Changing Dimension).Ensure data models are understandable and maintainable by all stakeholders.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data models into larger solutions.To succeed as a Data Modeler, you should have:Experience with data modeling tools and technologies.Strong understanding of data modeling concepts, including entity-relationship diagrams and data warehousing principles.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.We offer a dynamic and supportive work environment, opportunities for professional growth, and a competitive compensation package.
