Senior Machine Learning Specialist

Machine Learning EngineerAs a seasoned expert in building and owning machine learning pipelines, you will be responsible for end-to-end ML operations.Key Responsibilities:Data Engineering & Schemas:Develop and implement data ingestion and processing workflows across various platforms (Shopify, GA4, ESP, CRM, ad platforms); define event taxonomy, identity graph, and data contracts to ensure seamless data flow.Feature Engineering:Design and build offline and online features for predictive modeling (pLTV, propensity, clustering) while maintaining parity with feature stores (e.g., Feast) and model registries (e.g., MLflow).ML Pipeline & Training:Establish reproducible training pipelines in Python/SQL/dbt, incorporating experiment tracking, hyperparameter search, and evaluation for accurate model development.MLOps & Deployment:Package models using Docker, deploy to managed services (Vertex, SageMaker, Cloud Run), integrate CI/CD with GitHub Actions, and implement blue-green/rollback patterns for smooth deployments.Orchestration:Utilize Airflow/Prefect to schedule jobs, manage dependencies, SLAs, and retries; design backfills and incremental loads to maintain data consistency.Observability:Implement DQ checks (Great Expectations/dbt tests) and model performance monitoring, setting up alerting and cost guardrails to ensure optimal resource utilization.Activation & APIs:Develop fast and robust services using FastAPI/Cloud Functions to push signals into Meta CAPI, Google Ads (EC/OCI), or TikTok Events API via reverse ETL (Hightouch/Census).Experimentation & Measurement:Collaborate with product/GTM on uplift tests, holdouts, and calibration to measure and prove incremental value.Documentation & Enablement:Produce comprehensive runbooks, ERDs, and playbooks to empower team members and enable self-service capabilities.
