Job TitleStrategic Business Developer Federal Contracting Position OverviewThis is a strategic business development role focused on driving growth through federal capture planning, partner development, and teaming execution in the federal marketplace.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of identifying federal opportunities, developing compliant and competitive teaming strategies, and cultivating long-term relationships with prime contractors, subcontractors, and small business partners to support successful bids and contract awards.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify, qualify, and track federal contracting opportunities through market research, procurement forecasts, and contract vehicle analysis.Support go/no-go decisions by assessing win probability, competitive landscape, and federal acquisition strategy.Develop and execute teaming strategies for targeted federal opportunities in alignment with agency requirements, set-aside rules, and acquisition methods.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, or related discipline (or equivalent federal contracting experience).Demonstrated experience in federal business development, capture management, or partnering within the U.S. Government marketplace.Strong working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, SBA small business programs, and federal acquisition lifecycle.Preferred QualificationsExperience with federal set-aside programs (8(a), SDVOSB, WOSB, HUBZone).Familiarity with major federal agencies and contract vehicles (e.g., GSA MAS, SEWP, CIO-SP, Alliant).Core Competencies & SkillsFederal capture strategy and pipeline developmentPartner vetting and competitive analysisFAR/SBA compliance and risk management
