Dental Billing Operations Manager

Job DescriptionThe Dental Billing Operations Manager will oversee the entire dental billing cycle, ensuring seamless and efficient management of insurance verification, claims submission, payment posting, accounts receivable follow-up, and denial resolution. This role involves supervising a team of dental billers and specialists to meet productivity and quality benchmarks.Key Responsibilities:Manage the full dental billing cycle, including insurance verification, claims submission, and payment posting.Supervise a team of dental billers and specialists to meet productivity and quality benchmarks.Handle escalations, resolve complex billing issues, and coordinate with clients and internal teams.Maintain accurate coding (CDT) and cross-coding (ICD-10/CPT) for oral surgery and other relevant procedures.Track team KPIs and maintain reporting for collections, claim turnaround time, and rejection rates.Maintain compliance with HIPAA, payer policies, and state-specific billing regulations.RequirementsThe ideal candidate should possess at least 7 years of experience in U.S. dental billing and RCM, with strong knowledge of CDT codes, PPO & FFS plans, cross-coding for medical claims, pre-authorizations, and claim appeals. Proficiency in at least two major dental software systems is also required.
