Junior Execution Trader Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to support portfolio managers in trade execution and operational processes.This role is ideal for a fresh graduate with strong analytical skills and a keen interest in markets and trading.The successful candidate will be responsible for executing and monitoring trades/algorithms as instructed by the Portfolio Manager with accuracy and timeliness.Trade execution and management: Execute and monitor trades/algorithms as instructed by the Portfolio Manager with accuracy and timeliness.Reporting and reconciliation: Manage, upload, and reconcile trades and P&L reports.Counterparty coordination: Coordinate with counterparties, including brokers and operations teams, on trade settlement and risk reconciliation.Trade analysis: Perform trade and strategy analysis to support portfolio decision-making.Automation: Apply basic programming skills to automate trade/strategy processes and reporting.Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal controls and operational procedures.Key Qualifications & Skills:MBA from tier 1 B-Schools in India (2025 or 2024 graduates preferred).Strong interest in trading, markets, and investment strategies – the CV should show firm interest in financial markets Theoretical and/or practical knowledge of basic financial products – derivations, fixed income, equities Basic programming knowledge (e.g., Python, VBA, SQL) to support automation.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.Detail-oriented with a disciplined, results-driven approach.Strong communication and coordination skills.
