Mobile Product EngineerThis role offers unparalleled ownership, impact, and the chance to shape the technical foundation of a leading mobile product.The successful candidate will lead the design, development, and maintenance of a high-performance mobile application using React Native and Expo (EAS). They will architect and enhance a scalable Design System using TypeScript and component API best practices, ensuring clear styling tokens, reusability, and proper documentation.Design, develop, and maintain a robust Network Layer, ensuring efficient data fetching, effective caching strategies, and streamlined data transformation.Drive app performance optimization, focusing on reducing re-renders, minimizing Bridge traffic, and optimizing bundle/startup time for a consistent user experience.Take full ownership of core mobile features from concept to deployment.Contribute to high code quality through rigorous peer review and knowledge sharing.Requirements:5+ years of software development experience, with 3+ years dedicated to in-depth React Native for cross-platform mobile apps.Expert proficiency in React Native core principles, Expo (including EAS), TypeScript, and modern state management.Proven experience in profiling and optimizing complex mobile applications and resolving common performance bottlenecks.Deep experience architecting and building scalable Design Systems with a focus on modularity, scalability, and performance.Extensive experience designing and managing the network/data fetching layer, including advanced use of state management for server data and implementing robust retry/caching logic.Strong product sense, championing user-centric design to deliver the simplest, most intuitive experience.Proficiency in backend integrations (REST API) and experience with cloud platforms.Bonus Points:Successful app launches on the App Store and Google Play.Experience with native development or mobile testing frameworks.Familiarity with CI/CD processes and JSI libraries.Why Join Us?You will shape the product, architecture, and engineering culture from day one.Work at the cutting edge, utilizing and implementing the newest AI tools into your daily workflow.
