Job DescriptionThe role involves fostering a culture of continuous learning and skill development to stay aligned with the latest industry practices.Conduct technical reviews, peer reviews and contribute to design development.Provide feedback on protocols and processes for improvement.Build strong professional relationships with team members.Participate in project meetings and disseminate information within the team.Identify and address potential risk issues and follow company procedures.Manage delegated tasks effectively and flag resourcing concerns.Flag additional fees for approval.Required Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you will require:Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental/Mechanical Engineering or related field.Experience in Plumbing & Fire Protection design for commercial and residential buildings at concept, schematic and detailed design stages.Knowledge of fixture load calculations, pipe pressure drop calculations, pipe sizing for hot & cold water and fire protection.Ability to prepare Plumbing and Fire equipment schedules and BOQs.Proficiency in preparation of layouts, schematics, sections, plant rooms hand mark ups.Familiarity with ASHRAE, ISHRAE, ASPE, IPC and NFPA Fire codes and standards.
