The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in backend automation frameworks, data validations, and testing complex API and service-based architectures.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for backend services using Java and automation frameworks.Work extensively on backend testing involving API validation, database verification, and message payload comparisons (JSON, FIX, XML).Collaborate closely with development and business teams to understand business logic, data models, and workflow processes.Participate in test planning, test case design, test execution, and defect management throughout the SDLC.Validate data integrity and perform end-to-end database validations using SQL queries.Integrate automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps, etc.).Provide feedback and recommendations to improve software usability, performance, and overall quality.Work in Agile/DevOps environments ensuring continuous testing and quick feedback cycles.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.3–6 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on backend automation.Proficiency in Java programming is mandatory.Experience in API testing, JSON/FIX/XML payload comparison, and database validation.Working knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps).Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
