Lead Analyst XMD What does the job entail? The Lead Analyst XMD focuses on implementing and operating the Bremen specific XMD software solution. Key Responsibilities: Develop specific features or modules of the solution (full stack), conduct testing and debugging, bring them live and collaborate with other team members to integrate code into the larger system and repositories. Handover of working software to support team; assist and support difficult service request, issue and problem solving in application maintenance; regular duty in XMD on-call group. Who are we looking for? Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in .net-software development, ideally in the manufacturing industry Strong written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English Technical skills (mandatory): Operating Systems: Proficient in working with Windows operating systems Programming Languages and Frameworks: Strong expertise in C# .NET, including .NET Framework 4.8, .NET 8, WinForms Web Technologies: Experience in developing REST APIs; basic knowledge of Angular, HTML, and CSS Architecture and Development Methodologies: Solid understanding of the MVC pattern; experience with unit testing and test-driven development; asynchronous programming, specifically async/await, tasks, and threading Databases: Strong SQL skills Error Handling & Logging: Structured error handling; experience with logging frameworks (e.g., Serilog, log4net) Development Environment: Proficient use of Visual Studio Documentation: Ability to create technical documentation, including code comments, architectural descriptions and release notes Technical skills (optional): Version Control: Experience with GIT CI/CD and Project Management: Experience with Azure DevOps; basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines; familiar with automated testing and build processes (preferably in combination with Azure DevOps) Collaboration: Experience of working in agile Scrum teams Analysis & Optimization: Experience with debugging and profiling; confident use of tools like the Visual Studio Debugger, dot Trace, or Performance Profiler Software Design: Familiarity with common design patterns (e.g., Dependency Injection) Soft skills: Strong communication skills and self-motivation Ability to analyze and solve complex problems and error patterns Profound knowledge and habit in agile software development Proven track in building and running software solutions Error and problem analysis and solving
