For their Design center based in Mumbai , India , for the Engineering - Piping team, they have an vacancy for:


3D Design Administrator.


Mission : 


Your main mission is:


 Responsible for 3D modelling and execution of the project 

 Must have knowledge of software administration of 3D design- like E3D/ PDMS & S3D

 Knowledge of CAD Worx would be added advantage.

 Conducting various checks to improve quality.

 Importing and exporting data through various compatible softwares .e.g. Tekla / advance steel to SP3D, PDS

and PDMS, importing & exporting data from & to IFC / DGN / DWG/ STP / SAT formats.

 Should be familiar with different pipe classes and material specification.

 Responsible for quality and health of 3D model.


E3D


 Project set-up, administration and user support for Aveva PDMS/E3D/S3D

 Full and through knowledge of PDMS/E3D, Paragon, PML, CATS & SPECS

 Understands the scope of each project and has the capability to create PDMS/E3D database structures that

will enable the 3D design and subsequent creation of deliverables from the project databases

 Create PDMS/E3D model based on 3D modelling procedure with the required databases, teams and users

and access rights according to PDMS/E3D Administration, Audit & control. (Establish

procedures/specifications for projects and company standards relating to use of PDMS/E3D.)

 Responsible for end-user training on the usage of customization 

 

 Setup ISODRAFT module for generating isometrics as per project & client specifications / documents &

resolve and trouble shoot isometric errors

 Update model review files in NAVIS WORKS format on daily basis and copy them to project server for the use

of all discipline engineers

 ISODRAFT-ISODRAFT Customization as per the Requirements

 DRAFT-Administration -Administration & Drafting

 PARAGON(CATS)-Piping, Steel, Instrument, Catalogue creation & updating

 SPECON (SPECS)-Piping, Steel, Instrument, Spec creation.& updating


S3D / SP3D 


 SP3D (Smart plant 3D) project set up and execution.

 SP3D, catalogue & specification customization 

 Isometric Template Customization. Isometric XML file preparation.  

 

Knowledge and Required Level :


 Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

 3D design, E3D & SP3D and Cadworx Administrator

 10 – 15 yrs of work experience (minimum 10 yrs)

 Needs to have 3D modelling softwares administrator experience including project set up, cataloguing &

report generation etc. in SP3D, PDMS.

 Should have good knowledge of piping engineering including material specifications and modelling .
