The role of a Senior Data Engineer at a leading organization involves building and maintaining a modern data platform on AWS. This includes transitioning from legacy systems to a scalable, cloud-native architecture using technologies like Apache Iceberg, AWS Glue, Redshift, and Atlan for governance.Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows on AWS. Other duties involve migrating legacy data solutions to modern AWS-native services, implementing and managing a data lake architecture, working with Redshift, and applying data quality and observability practices.Requirements for the position include 8+ years of experience in data engineering and pipeline development. Strong expertise with AWS services, especially Redshift, Glue, S3, and Athena is required.
