Oracle Functional Finance Consultant Role OverviewThis is a career-defining opportunity to work as an Oracle Functional Finance Consultant, providing expert guidance and support to clients in optimizing their financial processes and systems.Foster strong relationships with business stakeholders to gather and analyze finance process requirementsConfigure and maintain Oracle Financial modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Tax modulesMap business processes for procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, and return-to-return cycles to Oracle functionalitiesDevelop functional specification documents and configuration workbooksLead data conversions, mappings, and fiscal year-end activitiesCoordinate with technical teams on integrations and troubleshootingConduct system testing and user acceptance testingTroubleshoot and resolve functional issues; manage defect resolutionProvide end-user training and create process documentationSupport month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activitiesDevelop and execute test plans to ensure quality deliverablesDemonstrate expertise in revenue accounting principles and ASC 606/842 standardsAbout the Ideal Candidate7+ years of experience as an Oracle Functional Finance ConsultantStrong knowledge of accounting principles (US GAAP/IFRS)Hands-on experience configuring GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Credit Management, and Tax modulesExperience with financial reporting tools (FRS, OTBI, BI Publisher, Smart View)Understanding of financial integrations with third-party systemsExcellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skillsTeam player working with internal and external stakeholdersPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSOracle Financials Cloud CertificationExperience working in leasing, retail, or related industriesExposure to revenue recognition principles and third-party integrationsCPA, CMA, or ACCA certification
