Work from your home. What is expected from youA minimum of 2 years in any form of fundamental analysis of companiesA grounding in value investing / Buffett school of investing is preferredAbility to understand 10 years of financial statementsA strong interest and ability to analyse and value listed companiesMonitor news flow and compile valuable industry informationAbility to analyse financial information of companies such as cash flow statement, notes to accounts, etcAbility to sift through pages of literature on companies and come to certain conclusions or opinionsProficiency in Microsoft Excel,Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to present findings in a simple languageAbility to work independently - you will work alone and hence, the role is suited for people who love working alone. Dont expect any teamwork.Communicate investment ideas to the investment teamWhat you can expectGuidance on our core investing valuesComplete freedom to figure out your own working hours, and to flow in whatever direction your work takes you. Professional AchievementsEducational credentials which give you the skills required to perform the role like CA, CFA (US), MBA (Finance) are preferred. Undergraduates are also welcome with relevant work experience.Work ExperienceMinimum Work Experience of 2 Years preferredShare your thought processAlong with the application, please provide a 1-2 page analysis of any business of your choice.The intention is to understand your ability to study, understand & communicate the investment idea.In addition, please provide a 1-2 page business analysis of a company you believe is potentially a fraud / rigged.Other important points to noteYou will be free to take your own personal decisions for personal investing.CompensationTo begin with, please expect a CTC of 8 lakhs p.a.
