Key Roles and Responsibilities:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to design and implement robust data pipelines that power nationwide analytics and support machine learning systems.This is an exciting opportunity to build scalable ETL pipelines using Python and SQL, orchestrated with Airflow. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and operating data lakes or Lakehouse architectures on AWS.Core Responsibilities:Develop scalable ETL pipelines using Python and SQL, orchestrated with Airflow, to ensure reliable and efficient data processing.Run and optimize distributed data processing jobs with Spark on AWS EMR and/or EKS to achieve high performance and scalability.Implement batch and streaming ingestion frameworks (APIs, databases, files, event streams) to integrate with various data sources.Required Skills and Qualifications:To be successful in this role, candidates must possess a deep understanding of data engineering principles and technologies. A strong background in the following areas is essential:Designing and operating data lakes or Lakehouse architectures on AWS.Developing scalable ETL pipelines using Python and SQL.Orchestrating workflows with Airflow.Running and optimizing distributed data processing jobs with Spark on AWS EMR and/or EKS.Implementing batch and streaming ingestion frameworks.
