The ideal candidate will lead automation strategy, framework development, and test execution while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement test automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript for UI and API testing. Define test automation strategies, best practices, and governance standards. Lead and mentor a team of automation engineers, conducting code reviews and training sessions. Work closely with developers, QA, and business analysts to ensure effective test coverage. Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.). Implement data-driven and behavior-driven testing approaches using Playwright. Troubleshoot test failures, perform root cause analysis, and drive resolution. Ensure test coverage for UI, API, and database testing. Collaborate with DevOps teams to enable continuous testing and deployment. Required Skills and Qualifications: 7-10+ years of experience in test automation and software testing. Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript/JavaScript. Expertise in designing and implementing custom automation frameworks. Experience working with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps). Proficiency in test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, or QMetry). Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies. Hands-on experience in API testing using Playwright or other tools. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills. Experience with Git and version control workflows.
