Financial AnalystThe Financial Analyst plays a vital role in supporting the company's strategic objectives through data-driven insights and financial expertise.Key Responsibilities:Analyzing financial statements, cash flow, and performance metrics to provide actionable recommendations for improvement.Developing and maintaining accurate financial models to support forecasting and scenario planning.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of financial information and support informed business decisions.Budgeting & Forecasting:Assisting in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts to drive business growth and optimize resource allocation.Tracking budget variances and providing explanations for deviations to inform future budgeting decisions.Supporting scenario planning and financial modeling to simulate various business scenarios and identify potential risks and opportunities.Data Modeling & Insights:Building and maintaining financial models using Excel, Power BI, or Tableau to provide detailed financial insights and support data-driven decision-making.Interpreting data trends and providing recommendations for business improvement to enhance overall performance and efficiency.Conducting cost-benefit and ROI analyses to identify areas for cost savings and optimize resource allocation.Business Support:Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather financial inputs and ensure seamless integration of financial information.Providing analytical support for strategic initiatives, investments, and projects to inform business decisions and drive growth.Reviewing financial performance of departments and products to identify areas for improvement and optimization.Compliance & Documentation:Ensuring that financial practices comply with GAAP and company policies to maintain financial accuracy and integrity.Preparing documentation for audits and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and minimize risk.Maintaining accurate and organized financial records to facilitate timely and informed decision-making.Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.Strong proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and experience with financial modeling and forecasting.Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and BI tools to leverage technology and drive business growth.Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills to drive business insights and recommendations.Excellent communication and presentation abilities to effectively convey complex financial information and drive business outcomes.
