SA4 – Principal Engineer, CSS Global SaaS & Apps Delivery, Cloud Admin

Required skills:

Excellent inter-personal and communication skills Independent problem solving; self-direction Excellent in verbal and written communication  Fully competent in own area of expertise (Unix System Administration, Cloud Infra and Network) Duties and tasks are varied and complex requiring independent judgment. Uses professional concepts, company policies/procedures & creativity to solve a wide range of problems. Contributes to complex aspects of a project or assignment. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction/mentoring to others. A solid understanding of Cloud networking/distributed computing environment concepts Be a strong contributor to development of platform services including architecture, configuration, deployment, and support (Debugging and fixing) Infrastructure automation through Terraform, Ansible, Python, Serverless Functions Should be flexible to work in 24x7 (rotation shifts). Candidate must be versatile, long-term dreamer, a team-player, and enjoys working with new technologies in a fast-paced technology environment.

Required background:

Seven plus years of related experience in a medium to large cloud computing environment. Experience in working with project teams and being a primary contact for project related work.

Educational Qualification:

B Tech/ M Tech / MCA/Graduate/Post-Graduate from any stream with proven IT experience. Certifications in Linux or Cloud technologies would be added advantage.
