Position: G/Tech Developer

Duties:
The position will perform hands-on Intergraph G/Technology application design, programming, implementation, and support for Utility GIS related projects and activities.
Perform complex hands-on integrated programming, data analysis, and application development.
The position will require work in G/Tech desktop, web, and mobile software and extensions to meet project needs.
Must have very good domain knowledge in telecom (fiber), electric, water, and gas
Interacts with clients, customers, officials, partners, and others.
Attends project meetings and presents specific aspects of engineering assignments.

Skillset – Critical Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Geographical Information System (GIS), related disciplines, or equivalent.
Must have experience in Intergraph’s G/Tech platform at an advanced level , viz., data model development for any utility like fiber, electric, water, and gas based on customer needs, metadata modeling, configurations/customization for addressing desired functionalities, developing custom commands based on need, data publishing, system deployment, integration of G/Tech with other business systems like SAP/ERP/SCADA systems, problem identification and rectification for smooth deployment, exposure in G/Tech web and mobile applications and development, etc.)
Must have 5 to 7 years of C#, ASP.NET, Visual Basic, .Net application development experience in a structured software development environment
RDBMS: Oracle, Oracle Spatial, MS-SQL Server, SAP HANA, MySQL, SQLite
Must have good proficiency in Oracle Spatial
Should have experience in developing data migration tools to migrate data from any source GIS DB to G/Tech platform
Should have proficiency in writing Oracle’s scripts / stored procedures.
Strong SQL, PL-SQL & T-SQL hands-on experience required
Experience with web platforms such as HTML, XML, SOAP, WSDL, Java Scripts, Rest API, Python Scripts
Experience with other industry-standard technologies such as JSON, XML, and Web services.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Be able to work with IT and business teams to troubleshoot complex application problems.

Skillset – Good to have:

Working knowledge in other Utility GIS platforms like ArcFM / GE Small World.
Java core Enterprise Edition, JavaBeans, JSP, Spring, Hibernate
Knowledge in Safe FME application
Working knowledge on Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud for system deployment on cloud environments
Oracle DBA knowledge including performance, backup & recovery
Should have ability to explore COTS mobile application SDKs and take on further specific development
