The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, architecting, administering and managing large database systems.Database Design and Architecture: Our Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for designing and architecting large database systems that meet the needs of our business.SQL Query Development: The successful candidate will develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation and analysis.Data Warehouse Implementation: Our Senior Data Engineer will implement new databases, data warehouses, data pipelines and ETL processes.Data Structures: The candidate will develop and maintain data structures to support business needs.Collaboration: Our Senior Data Engineer will collaborate with IT and business teams to understand data requirements and provide solutions.Data Integrity: The successful candidate will ensure data integrity, security and performance optimization of database systems.Documentation: Our Senior Data Engineer will create and maintain documentation for database architecture, data flows and processes.Possible Benefits or Qualifications listed include:A minimum of 7 years of experience in data engineering with Microsoft SQL Server and Azure Database.Strong expertise in database design, architecture, administration and management.Background in retail preferred but not necessary.Excellent problem-solving skills, communication skills and the ability to work independently.Experience in strategic planning and project management.
