Roles &Responsibilities:

  • As Lead Engineer theperson shall be capable of reviewing & executingEngineering Activities for Substation/ Power Distribution/Transmission line/ Renewables Projects as per the Roles assigned tohim/her in the respective domain.
  • She/ Hemust have good knowledge in her/ his domain. She/ he should havesound knowledge in design of SCADA & Automation Systems forMicroGrid Renewable Power Plants (Solar Wind BESS) &Process Plants.
  • She/ He should carry soundknowledge in PLC SCADA Products telecom interfaces includingcommunication Protocols etc.
  • She/ He shouldcarry sound knowledge on the Programming logics for various systemsincluding Power Flow Management System within MicroGridSystem.
  • She/ He should be highly Proactive inunderstanding the Project/Client requirements and guide theinternal design team for necessary corrective actions in advancewhile designing the system Architecture.
  • She/he has to coordinate/review with other departments includingInterdepartmental checks covering Renewable SCADA System PowerPlant Controller Substation Automation System BESS Controller LoadPLC. The Lead Engineer shall be required to provide support for theengineering activities covering the full cycle of works fromengineering to support during commissioning and warranty periodsand to extend support to site team.
  • To be theSingle Point contact for the SCADA & Instrumentation Designof the respective project for Internal & Externalcustomers.
  • To Support front office team inobtaining approvals on time from client.
  • Capable of multitasking and deliver multiple things ontime.
  • Coordinate with multiple disciplinesfor ensuring interdepartmental checks.
  • Coordinate with multiple vendors for ensuring seamlessinterface between the various Makes of PLC SCADA LocalControllers.
  • Provide support &clarifications to the site execution team.
  • Clarify issues with respect to the design requirements ofthe client to the site execution team.
  • Collectinputs for project details from client & projectengineering manager.
  • Coordinating withoperations team and informing design specifications for obtainingapproval.
  • Followup with the vendors for theVendor Deliverables submission on time.
