About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated Data Engineer with 1–3 years of experience to join our growing team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable data pipelines, enabling reliable data flow across systems, and ensuring high data quality to support analytics and business decision-making. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines for batch and real-time processing.
  • Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and product teams to understand data needs and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security across all data sources and pipelines.
  • Optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Implement monitoring and alerting systems to ensure the reliability of pipelines.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate data solutions with products and platforms.

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field from a Tier-1 engineering college.
  • Strong programming skills in Python/Java/Scala.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases.
  • Familiarity with distributed data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and data warehousing solutions (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake) is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Luigi, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Good to Have:

  • Exposure to containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.
  • Understanding of data governance, lineage, and compliance best practices.
