Requisites:

  • BE/BTECH in EEE/E&I with minimum 3-12 years of experience in Construction/Project Management, Subcontractor management, Procurement, Costing & Estimation of Electrical or Instrumentation works in Oil & Gas Industries, Process plant, steel plant, petrochemical complex.
  • Good academic background from Tier 1 or Tier 2 institutes.
  • Sound knowledge in Electrical or Instrumentation Construction/Project Management, Subcontractor management, Procurement, Costing & Estimation. Excellent commercial acumen and keen interest in managing multiple Stakeholders and sub-contractors.
  • Knowledge in installation, testing, commissioning of Electrical substations and DCS will be an added advantage.
  • Must possess good interpersonal & communication skills, ability to maintain good relations with all stakeholders and Knowledge in Advanced Excel, Power BI, Google Studios, SAP etc is necessary.


Job Description – E&I Operations

  • Experience in interpretation and application of National Electrical Code/ IEEE/ DGMS and other relevant international codes and standards.
  • Knowledge in equipment erection, plant cable laying, Cable tray installation, Instrument Installation, Hook ups, testing and commissioning of all Electrical and Instrumentation systems shall be added advantage.
  • Knowledge of area classification and international codes and practices applicable in refinery and petrochemicals is added advantage.
  • Planning of material, resources, execution, cost control awareness and reconciliation activities of Electrical or Instrumentation works with Sub-contractor and Project team.
  • Active involvement in Subcontractor Management to ensure scheduling milestones and understanding critical activities for delivery of committed dates.
  • Active in upgrading sub-contractors' work performance.
  • Liaised with Project Managers and Cluster Operation Heads to move project forward.
  • Determined and scheduled priorities as required for project progress.
  • Monitor and Control assigned project.
  • Site co-ordination and review with respect to productivity and standards.
  • Subcontractor coordination and appraisal.
  • Resource planning in account of Staff and Workmen for assigned Project.
  • Involvement in Digitisation for Electrical and Instrumentation productivity improvement.
  • Ability to plan day to day activities, liaising with other discipline vide: F&A, Legal, Construction and Project Management team.
